Mangala Subramaniam is Professor of Sociology, Butler Chair and Director of the Susan Bulkeley Butler Center for Leadership Excellence at Purdue University, West Lafayette. In her current administrative role, she focuses on providing opportunities to enhance leadership skills and professional development for faculty. Her various publications are reflective of her expanded research interests in the areas of gender and leadership, careers in the academy, and inclusive excellence.
Dr. Subramaniam is the current State Co-Director of the American Council on Education (ACE) Women’s Network of Indiana and was an Associate Editor of Social Problems which is one of the top four journals in sociology. For more information, see www.mangalasubramaniam.com
