During my years in the academe I noticed that while there were many choices for Student Information Systems to support enrollment and retention and LMS’s to manage content and course delivery and lots of other software, there were no comprehensive systems to help the academic teams collaborate to do the vital work of educating students.
So in 2014, a group of faculty, deans, chairs, academic affairs people, accreditors and I sat down to imagine what a software platform, designed for them would look like. A year later APL was born.
