Panel Discussion-Inside Higher Ed Chief Academic Officer Survey
Virtual Event: Watch Now On-Demand
Inside Higher Ed’s 2022 Survey of Chief Academic Officers, sponsored by APL nextED, revealed more than half of all Provosts believe that their faculty are engaged with their work (59%), yet there is concern that a lack of connection between faculty and administrators remains. In addition, most Provosts (83 percent) surveyed say their faculty lack the right tools to feel supported, resourced and engaged.
An increasing demand for online programs has many institutions looking at their Professional, Continuing and Online (PCO) operations to lead the way with best practices for teaching, learning, and collaboration.
Hear from a panel of higher ed leaders and members of the University Professional Continuing Education Association (UPCEA) as they reflect on how Provosts are collaborating with their PCO leadership.
Attendees will learn:
- Insights and perspectives from Provosts/CAOs on partnering with their Professional, Continuing and Online (PCO) leadership to add new programs and value for students
- How PCO leadership are scaling resources to meet increased demand
- How to connect and support faculty in hybrid or online formats
This event was recorded Thursday, June 16, 2022.
APL nextED is a sponsor of the 2022 Inside Higher Ed Survey of College and University Chief Academic Officers and an UPCEA Gold Partner.
